Everyone needs to get away sometimes. . . next time you feel this way, drive west to MARFA.
Chase and I spent our 1 year anniversary weekend out here. It was a nice place to sit back and to think about how much our lives has changed in 1 year, we talked about what we loved and what we didn't like :) we both couldn't believe how fast 1 year really does go by.
It was nice to be by ourselves, not around anyone really, just nature, art, wine, cameras, and us. We couldn't have been more happy. We had heard wonderful things about Marfa, and we were thrilled to finally have an excuse to get out there. We made a note to always go back at least once a year, no matter how busy life gets for us. A weekend there is always needed :)
